Moong dal khichdi is a complete meal in itself, made with rice, lentils and Indian spices. I make this moong dal tadka khichdi with a little twist to make it more tasty.

Rice and moong dal are pressure cooked, then mixed into a tadka of potato, peas, mixed vegetables, tomato, ginger, garlic and whole spices. Enjoy it with a dollop of ghee on top, yogurt and pickle, or any Indian curry on the side.
